The Bring Kids Back UA exhibition has now reached a new continent. Hosted in Mexico City, the exhibition titled «Living the War: Children» was opened at the Casa ASEM to the public from August 13 to 27.
This exhibition, a continuation of our efforts previously seen in Brussels, Singapore, and Kyiv, seeks to stress the importance of raising public awareness about the illegal deportation of Ukrainian children.
Additionally, Mexican artist Eduardo Sánchez del Valle has created two sculptures, "Carbon Dreams," specifically for this exhibition. Proceeds from the sale of these pieces will go directly towards the return and rehabilitation of Ukrainian children impacted by the war.
The exhibition’s opening was attended by diplomatic representatives from multiple countries, including members of the Mexican Foreign Service Association, NGOs, and human rights defenders. Ukrainian Ambassador to Mexico, Oksana Dramaretska, said: "Our goal is to return every Ukrainian child to their homeland," emphasizing the Bring Kids Back UA initiative as a key element of President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula.
The exhibition continues to call for broader international action. Mexico has yet to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. So every effort across diplomatic, cultural, and humanitarian channels is needed to ensure that all abducted Ukrainian children are returned safely home.
