14 more children successfully returned from temporarily occupied territories

As part of the implementation of the Bring Kids Back UA plan, the joint efforts of the Ukrainian Ombudsman's Office team have successfully evacuated several families with children from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.

The children, ranging in age from 2.5 months to 16 years, have now been safely brought back to Ukraine.

These families endured daily horrors under Russian occupation, including forced passportization, constant searches by Russian special services, the ever-present risk of their children being deported to Russia, and threats of having their children taken away and placed with Russian families.

Thankfully, these ordeals are now behind them. The children can look forward to living in their homeland without persecution or pressure. However, before that, they will receive much-needed psychological support and social assistance.

Returning children from the temporarily occupied territories remains a top priority for Ukraine. By doing so, we can prevent the further deportation of young Ukrainians to the territory of the aggressor.

We continue to work tirelessly to fulfill the President's mission – to bring all Ukrainian children back home.
