This week, fifteen more Ukrainian kids have been successfully brought home as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, in collaboration with our partners at Save Ukraine. Each child’s return represents not only a victory against the horrors of war but also a step toward healing and justice for the youngest victims of Russian aggression.
Behind every rescued child lies a heartbreaking story. Vitalina gave birth under Russian occupation, forced to register her baby with Russian documents to keep her child safe. Marichka, coerced into attending a Russian school, was given an ultimatum to “become Russian” or risk being abandoned. Olena lost her home and everything she held dear when the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant was destroyed, fleeing for the sake of her younger brother. And Kyrylo, at just 17 years old, faced forced conscription after being declared a “citizen” of Russia by the occupiers.
Thanks to Save Ukraine's dedicated team and other partners, these children and their families have found safety. At Save Ukraine’s rehabilitation centers, they receive crucial psychological support, medical care, and guidance to reintegrate into society after enduring unimaginable hardships.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partners for the unwavering commitment. Together, we continue the fight to bring every Ukrainian child back home, reunite families, and ensure their safety and future.
