Four more Ukrainian children have been rescued from Russian-occupied territories

Four more Ukrainian children have been rescued from Russian-occupied territories through the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, thanks to the dedicated efforts of our partners at Save Ukraine.

14-year-old Kateryna was born with a heart condition, yet she was denied medical care because of her Ukrainian citizenship and pressured to accept a Russian passport. Her father was coerced into signing a contract with the Russian army, while her parents were threatened with having their children taken away and sent to a camp. After suffering a nervous breakdown, she was advised to see a psychologist—only to be assigned an armed «psychologist» from the FSB.

16-year-old Oleksii was reprimanded by his schoolteacher for using Ukrainian letters in Russian words. Soon after, he was forcibly registered for military service, and some of his classmates were even taken to a military enlistment office and threatened with conscription into the Russian army. His best friend was deported along with her entire family, and they were all permanently banned from returning home.

14-year-old Denys spent three years under occupation without his father, who had to flee due to his military service. The FSB interrogated him, searched his home, and forced him to study under the Russian curriculum. His school organized military training exercises, teaching students how to assemble and disassemble rifles, but Denys refused to participate.

15-year-old Vadym lost the chance to pursue his favorite sport and compete due to the war. He was interrogated by the FSB and threatened with being sent to an orphanage. Despite the danger, he continued studying online at a Ukrainian school, knowing that escaping the occupation was his only path to a future.

We are deeply grateful to our partners Weareallukrainians, the Humanity Foundation, and Reload Love for their unwavering support in this mission.
