12 more kids were rescued from the temporary occupation

Last week, thanks to the combined efforts of Save Ukraine and the Bring Kids Back UA initiative, 12 more Ukrainian children and their families were successfully rescued from temporary occupation.

One of those returned is 11-year-old Yaryna (the child's name has been changed for safety reasons). Yaryna lived with her aunt in one of the temporarily occupied cities of Ukraine. Both were planning to escape to safety in Ukraine when tragedy struck: Yaryna’s aunt passed away unexpectedly. Fearing that she would be abducted by the Russians and placed into a Russian family. Therefore, our teams had to act swiftly and rescue Yaryna so that she would not be kidnapped by the Russians and placed into a Russian family.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible partners, including WeAreAllUkrainians, Ron Wahid, and the Humanity Foundation. Your unwavering support is critical to fulfilling this vital mission of bringing Ukrainian children back home.
