Seven kids were rescued as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative with the support of the Save Ukraine team.
Among those rescued is 16-year-old Stanislav, who bravely displayed his pro-Ukrainian stance in a Russian-occupied city. He tore down Russian flags and buried enemy trenches.
11-year-old Nastia witnessed Russian soldiers torment her parents. One night, she woke up to noises from the next room—four drunk Russian soldiers had stormed into their home, forced her mother and father to their knees, and held guns to their heads. This was their idea of “entertainment.”
Albina was born under occupation and spent the first five years of her life there. But from an early age, her mother taught her that their real home was free Ukraine. For years, Nadia feared her daughter might accidentally reveal their pro-Ukrainian views and searched for a way to escape. Now, she is relieved that Albina will finally go to school in Ukraine and have the chance to grow up in a free country.
16-year-old Erik and 10-year-old Alla shared how their sister Ksenia was kidnapped by Russian forces while trying to escape the occupied city. She was held in a basement for days, while their mother was forced to record a video thanking Russia for “saving her daughter.”
Angela and her 7-year-old daughter Olesia endured a true nightmare—bombings, occupation of their hometown, a dangerous escape through Russia, and a ban on returning home. Angela faced multiple interrogations, psychological pressure, and security checks. Today, they are finally safe.
