Today 6 Ukrainian kids have been successfully returned to safety from the Russian-occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.
These families were under immense pressure while in occupied territories. Parents reported that their children were forced to attend Russian schools, celebrate Russian holidays, and were pressured to accept Russian citizenship. Armed Russian soldiers frequently entered their homes, conducting unwarranted searches, adding to the constant fear and insecurity.

Ukraine is fully prepared to welcome back every child, offering vital humanitarian, medical, psychological, and social assistance. Meanwhile, law enforcement is documenting the crimes committed by Russian forces, witnessed or endured by our kids.
