4-year-old Angelina endured unimaginable hardship. She and her older sister grew up in a guardian family. When her sister turned 18, she managed to escape the occupation, but Angelina was forced to stay behind. Every day, the girl was in danger of being sent to a Russian orphanage.
For years, her biological aunt fought to bring her home to Ukraine and take her into her care. Thanks to the Ukrainian Child Rights Network, Angelina has finally been reunited with her family.
17-year-old Artur and his family had been living under occupation since February 24, 2022, enduring relentless shelling. After an explosion near their home left him with a concussion, his parents knew they couldn’t stay any longer. Yesterday, they finally and their dog Archi made it back to Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Every child we bring home is another step toward our ultimate goal: ensuring that all Ukrainian children grow up in safety, surrounded by love.
